The Chair

This bouncy chair has been a life saver! At first i was too lazy to put the batteries in it but thanks to Wendy's advice i did and now Merrick loves it! He normally falls asleep in it and i find his arm or leg hanging over the edge..its pretty funny

Since MeRRicK is 4 weeks old today, i thought i would post some more pics! We still dont have the internet at our house but i will try and keep ya'll updated as often as possible :)

He's Here!!!

Yep our baby boy was born on Monday! He is the most precious, sweet baby in the entire world! He was 7 pounds 5 oz and 20 inches long...and his official name is Merrick Lane Arnett :) For those of you who missed it, we named him about 20 minutes before we had to leave the hospital. Everything went really well though and now Danny and I love to sit and play with him or try to wake him up ((he still sleeps about 22 out of 24 hours..i hope i didnt jinx myself)) Thanks to everyone who has helped us out this past week!

Last weekend my friend abby ((who is due any day now and having a boy too!)) gave me a baby shower! it turned out really great and im so thankful she was able to do that for me :) Our baby boy got some really cool things..he's gonna be so cute in all his new outfits! it was fun to see my girlfriends from high school that i hardly ever get to see anymore..most of the pics are kinda hard to see but since Sara caught me takin some pictures i figured i better post them!



Since this last friday was my last day of work the girls there gave me a cute little shower during lunch! The girls there are so sweet and im gonna miss them alot! Even though i only worked there for 6 months or so they made me feel right at home. I didnt get any pictures with my camera but i did take some of the decorations... one of the girls made me this cute diaper cake and put together a bunch of picture frames for me to keep

7 weeks and counting

So im on the countdown now! Only about 7 weeks left...

Today we went for another ultrasound! those have got to be the coolest thing ever invented! our son however doesnt enjoy his little picture being taken! i hope you can change that chea :) last month he wouldnt turn around and when he did, he put his hands up to block his face then immediately turned back over so we couldnt see. Well today he had his eyes open!!! and i promise you, he was looking right at us! it was pretty amazing to see him though! he weighs almost 3 pounds,is definately a boy and due in 11 weeks.....yikes!!!! i know most people really only like to look at pics but my camera is dead ((i have to take a pic of the u/s printout)) so i will add them as soon as i can get that thing charged!

for the past two weekends i have been hangin out with Rachel! We have mostly gone to thrift stores which is actually alot of fun now! She got this really cute coffee table for her apartment for only 10 bucks! plus she always finds really expensive never before worn jeans for dirt cheap! Oh and we tried Yogurberry for the first time..it was alright!
