I love this kid!
He has grown so much over the last couple of months.
It amazes me everyday to watch him.
Here are some stats:
He went to the doctor for a check-up last week, he weighs 32 lbs.
He is 3 feet and 1 inch tall!
His favorite things are Buzz, Woody and Lightning McQueen.
We have watched Cars a 100 times in the last 2 weeks.
His favorite thing to do at preschool is paint.
He puts on his own shoes...backwards most of the time.
He is my own little furnice at night. He sweats when he sleeps and I mean alot!
He likes Honey Yogurt, tater tots, pizza, turkey sandwiches, chips and salsa, and any snack that someone else is eating.
He knows his numbers 1-10 but doesn't say them in the right order :)
He recognizes the littlest things around him.
Today I couldn't find the clock in the I-Spy book but he did!
He can't live without his "brown boppy" aka his blanket.
He has nicknames for all of the parks we go to. Its kinda funny
He is the sweetest boy i know!!!

Sisters in the City

I cannot tell you how happy I am that both of my sisters came to visit us last week! It was fun to go all around the city with them. While Merrick and I didnt go with them everywhere, we had fun showing them where we live, where we shop and what we do here in this concrete jungle. Rachel even made it to all five boroughs! Hannah made it to four :) Anyways we took the Staten Island ferry, got cupcakes at Crumbs, went shopping, saw the dazzle of Times Square, ate some good pizza, walked and walked and walked, Hannah rode her first train, stopped by the ice skating rink at Rockefeller Center, ventured out to the Bronx to go to the real Little Italy {with Danny of course}, walked some more, got some yummy hot chocolate and my favorite....we crafted! Rachel brought me some much needed supplies and I'm finally able to get crafting again. Here are a few pictures from their visit!

{I have no idea whats going on here but i love it}

I loved having them here! Merrick had a great time playing with them and showing off all of his toys. Our little apartment was a disaster the whole time but I hope they come back to visit again soon. I was really sad to see the SuperShuttle drive off with them.

Family Pictures

We took family pictures before we moved. I'm glad we did because I have no idea when the next time will be! I love seeing how they turn out every time. Chea did another amazing job at capturing who we are! If  your in AZ and need a photographer, i highly recommend her! Just check out her blog and you'll fall in love :) I remember Merrick being zero interested in sitting still or even looking in the cameras direction. As you can see, we often found him behind some pillars or with a tractor in his hand. I cannot believe how much he has grown just since these were taken.
