Strollin...

This is one of his favorite things to do. Ride in the stroller. He likes to pass the ducks in the pond, the birds sitting in the trees and all the dogs walking by! He also loves his oversized hat! He picked it out himself. He is growing up :)

SnOw DaY

Last night we decided to go see some snow! After church we headed up NoRtH! It was so pretty to see all the white snow on the ground and in the trees! Poor Merrick didnt have any gloves though {I forgot to grab them} so his hands were pretty cold! Danny pushed me down into a big pile of snow and Merrick started to scream and cry. He must love me! He also started screaming and crying when Danny voluntarily jumped into a big pile of snow and sank.

Easiest DIY project ever!

This is the easiest project I have ever done! Seriously! I've seen these hurricane jars a few places in the blogging world and thought I would give it a try.

Step 1:

Grab yourself some of these from the Dollar Store or Goodwill

{glass candlesticks)

and grab yourself one of these
{ glass vase also from the Dollar Store or Goodwill}

Step 2:

Simply glue the 2 pieces together. Make sure to use a strong glue
that dries clear. I let mine dry for a few hours before putting them to use.

Step 3:

Add some Valentine's Candy and your done!!!

You can use any shape or size vase you want. The possibilities are endless and for no more than $2 you can't go wrong!

P.S. The jars were full of candy at one point!

Some interesting information about Merrick!

- He goes through a whole package of GoLdFiSh and Fruit SnAcKs in ONE week!

-First thing in the morning before we even get up...he wants his shoes on.

- He has a thing for older girls! One day we were at UofA and a girl walked by him going in the opposite direction. Merrick did a double take, turned around and started chasing after her...it was hilarious. She laughed.

- He has 4 boppy's {blankets} that he sleeps with.

- He has reached a point where I have to bribe him with a treat to actually be good in the shopping cart. Its amazing that he already gets the concept!

- He knows how to do some sign language...thank you BaBy SiGnInG TiMe!

- He loves to give kisses for long extended amounts of time! Mostly in the morning to wake us up though.

I could go on and on about the little guy!!! He is the best :)

Recent Projects

Oh how I have a love/hate relationship with GooDWiLL. I love 1/2 off day and the idea of finding hidden treasurs that can be turned into fabulous finds but hate the people pushing, blocking and snatching up all the good stuff. Here are a few finds from the last few weeks.

Today we went to HL with Rachel and the baby she watches...Merrick wanted to hold his hand all the way in the car! So cute!

18 months

Time has seriously gone so fast! My little baby is 18 months...and he is probably the funniest kid I know! I love every day we get to spend together and he never ceases to amaze me at how smart he is!

On Saturday we got some exciting news!!! Danny got accepted to St. Johns for their Masters Program in Accounting! Its in the heart of it all....NeW YoRk CiTy! Thing is..... he could start in 2 weeks. Decisions Decisions :)
