a Birthday and a Shower

Saturday was my sister Rachel's BriDaL ShOwEr! It was at Costa Vida so the food was delicious! We had lots of fun hanging out and talking and of course eating! It was kinda funny watching her open her "gifts" in front of kids. Haha! She is getting married in 2 weeks!!!

We went out to dinner for my mom's birthday{which is tomorrow}. We went to Buca de Beppo! The food is soo good there and theres tons of it. We had a good time hanging out with family. Happy Birthday MOM!!!!
Oh and Merrick likes calamari!!!

A day at the park

We went to the park a few days ago! It was the perfect weather to be outside all afternoon!

SpRiNg BrEaK thus far

So for the first half of my "break" I have been working on all of these! Most of them I had started over the past few weeks..now i had time to FINISH them! I've been obsessed with crafting blogs lately...so most of these in some way or another are inspiration from them.

My $2 vase..now filled with eggs from the Dollar Store!

I spray painted these heirloom white then glazed over them with brown. SO easy!

SUBWAY ART: this actually took me a good 4 weeks to finish. I had to cut out all the letters by hand and then glue them each onto the canvas.


My sister got a CrIcUt machine!!!!!

My Own Version

I had this idea in my head and when I saw this wreath hanger thing at Target, it all came together! I was never going to pay $25 for this so I decided to make my own!

2. I need a good dark brown spray paint. Any suggestions?

3. How do i get rid of cRaYoN on the wall? Does MaGiC ErAsEr really work?

4. Can you wear brown and black together??

5. When painting furniture, what kind of brush do i use????

Two Peas in a Pod

Saturday we had a friend come over! It was so fun and funny to watch Merrick and Brooklyn play with eachother! They are only about 2 months apart. If she was on the green chair, Merrick just had to have it. If he was eating fishies then Brooklyn had to have some too! We played out in the backyard and shot some hoops and of course watched Blue's Clues. They were both sooo excited when their daddy's came home!

Tonight I found Merrick in his room like this...diaper 1/2 covering his little booty!

Between school, work and life in general I have little time these days to blog. I will work on it. But anyways here are a few things Merrick has been doing to keep me extra busy!

Shopping: I was picking out some bread and turned around to see Honey Buns boxes on the ground. I picked them up and moved on to the fruits...it wasnt until I got to the checkout that i noticed these in the cart! What a sneaky little guy!

Bathroom: Today while we thought Merrick was taking a nap in our room, he was really doing this!!! You can imagine my surprise when I found it. Notice the floss on the seat....yaaaa

Phone Calls: He finds it amusing to talk on the phone! He will mostly just breath into the phone or put his lips on it to give KiSsEs!

But how can you resist this face!!!
