HaPpY BiRtHdAy DaNnY!!!

Today is Danny's birthday! I better not say how old he is...he may not like it! Anyways im greatful he was born into this world twenty somethin years ago, otherwise i wouldnt have the perfect husband! He's an awesome father to Merrick too! I love to watch them play together, its so sweet. i think he is trying to say "happy birthday dad" in the picture below!

4 months

Way close "close up" of the little man!

Little MeRRiCk LaNe is 4 months already! We went to the doctors on Monday and here are the stats..
Weight: 15 lbs 10 oz (( 75th percentile))
Height: 26 1/2 inches (( 90th percentile))
I dont really remember the other ones but we did get the green light for baby food! When he got his shots, he got 4 this time, he didnt cry the first one, started to whimper the second, cried the third and screamed the fourth...very sad. I picked him up from the table to try and comfort him and while the nurse ripped off and crumbled the paper he got completely distracted by the noise and stopped crying. So it lasted all of about 7 seconds...
Overall he is doing well! i know Danny loves him just as much as I do and we are so greatful he was brought to us. Everyone says "dont blink" and i believe it cause i still feel like he is my tiny little newborn baby boy. Its amazing to see him grow and learn in this short 4 months and i cant wait to watch him continue to grow and learn in all the months ahead!

As you can see from the pictures Merrick was a cow! He lasted for about one house and then was out for the night..thanks to Tana for puttin him to sleep :)

Some of My Favorite Things...

well at least Merrick's favorite things! Last week my sister Hannah and i went to the mall with Merrick...he loved to look at the carosel! No way were we going on that thing though! Maybe some day when he is bigger. They did have some cool animals though..i think i remember seeing a pink dragon, a giraffe and they have a teacup on there now! where was that when i was little?! He is such a talker now too...he doesnt actually make sense yet but its so cute to hear him make noises. He's also really into grabbing my hair, i dont think that habit is gonna go away soon though. Plus he rolls over now...very exciting/scary! I have to be careful where i put him. I'll lay him at one end of the crib for a nap and when i go to get him, he's on the complete opposite side! Betcha didnt think a 4 month old could be into this but he is really into football this season ! haha he loves to be held in front of the tv while a game is on. i think its the colors on the screen that attract him, not the actual game! And last but not least, he's really into his toes! He loves to grab them and try and eat them...its pretty funny cause he normally ends up rolling over in the process. However its very hard when he wont let go of his feet and im tryin to put a diaper on him!

Hannah claimed he smelled funny! She just didnt want to change a diaper :)
