This weekend Danny was in New York so Merrick and I stayed the night at my parents house! This was the first time since he's been born that Danny hasnt been home at night and it was a little rough. Merrick would NOT go to sleep, he kept rolling over looking for him. Finally i had to put a giant tigger next to him to get him to fall asleep. But other than that we have had a busy weekend! I discovered 2 new stores that i love! Kirklands and Hobby Lobby!!! Yes they both had really cute, really expensive stuff but i got all mine from the clearance section and love it! But my favorite purchase was Merrick's baby book! yeah i know, im 6 months late on getting it but oh well. Now i have to try and rewind the past six months and write it down.



Oh! can anyone tell me how to get my friends and family links to show when they updated??? i've tried to figure it out on my own but it just isnt happenin :)

lookin back

its amazing to see how fast children grow. I know i have alot of years ahead of me but i love to look at Merrick's baby pictures...these are two of my favorite ((Chea took both of them)). The first one was at the hospital right after he was born. We still hadnt picked out a name and everyone was speculating it would be Reese.The second is of Danny and Merrick..they love eachother! The pacifier says it all!

6 MoNtHs

Merrick is officially 6 months old...as of last week! Yesterday we went to the doctor and the kid now weighs a ton! The stats are 19 lbs 6oz and 28 inches tall. Merrick also loves food!!! He will eat anything, especially his vegetables. He loves them! The only thing he dislikes is pears for some reason. He also thoroughly enjoys ice cream, oreos and graham crackers :) Oh and now he refuses to take a pacifier...which i havent decided if its a good or bad thing yet. At night ((yes he still sleeps in our bed)) as soon as he falls asleep he rolls over and puts his arm around Danny. Kinda jealous. But sometimes Merrick will scratch him or punch or kick him during the night. Not jealous. All i know is im still the one who has to get up in the middle of the night and make a bottle...

Merrick also has a new cousin! Little Macy was born last Saturday and we are definately jealous of the hair on that girl! There is one more little girl cousin on the way and we cant wait to meet her too! i think thats all the new cousins........for now :)

FaMiLy

A few weeks ago, Chea took some family photos of us. I love how they turned out! Im so greatful to have my boys Danny and Merrick. I love being with them and watching our child grow and learn. It really is one of the best things to be a parent. Words cant describe how it feels when they smile at you, or will only calm down if you hold them, or when they finally fall asleep in your arms. I love both of them!!!

Pictures quickly went from happy and fun to im done smiling now. I love the days i get to spend with Merrick. He is so funny and is quite the rolly-polly now. Today we were wrapping presents and he kept ripping and drooling all over the wrapping paper. I finally had to wrap up a little poncho for him to entertain himself with!

wayyy overdue!

Wow its been so long since i last posted...alot has happened since Danny's b-day! To start we had our 2 year wedding anniversary on the 22nd. We didnt do anything out of the ordinary that day! Although we did have dinner with Danny's friend the night before..maybe that was our date night?! not sure. For thanksgiving we hit up both families...first we had dinner ((its more like a big lunch though)) with my parents. Merrick had baby food for the first time..sweet potatoes! It was the funniest thing to watch, i can officially say he is addicted now!Next we went over to Danny's parents which is always a good time, lots of jokes and laughing at eachother, when everyone is there! lets see, yesterday i had an appt to get my wisdom teeth yanked by danny's uncle in Tucson so Merrick and I went down there with danny while he was at school! Its amazing the weird looks you get when your pushing around a stroller on a campus full of single students. None the less Merrick and I found other things to do like going to DI and Wally-world. That place down there is what gives the store a bad rap, the ones up here are...well just better! Anyways i ended up "chickening" out and am going to get them removed in January. Last but not least, my TwiLiGhT movie watching tally is up to 2! i know some of you out there didnt like the movie but i did! I'm already planning on taking Danny with me, we'll see how he likes it!
