One great thing about the East Coast is all the church history. We stopped in Sharon, Vt to see the birthplace of Joseph Smith. It was a very peaceful and quiet place and you could tell there was something special about the area. The home is no longer there but they have a few items left from it like the hearth for the fireplace and the front step. I'm really glad we drove home the long way so we could experience this place!
