The Pumpkin Blaze
The same day we went apple picking we also stopped by the Pumpkin Blaze. The first time I heard it, I had no idea what it even was. Well, it turned out to be pretty cool. Its kind of like a not so scary haunted house. Perfect for Merrick! It's at this old manor and there are somewhere around 4000 carved pumpkins. Up close we could tell that some were fake...they had to be! There was just too many of them. As you wander through the path you get to see all sorts of pumpkins. They shape them into cool designs like sunflowers, dinosaurs, a fish aquarium, a graveyard and even life size pirates! That night was the first real night that it was cold after dark so it really felt like Halloween time!!

Wow that is cool! Nothing like what I imagined when you were telling me about it on the phone! Are they all real??? I'm not even going to attempt to carve a pumpkin after seeing this...
I love this! I wish I had know about it before we left there. I totally miss the chilly feel and the festive smells of fall in the East. We're still hitting 95 in the day here in Gilbert, AZ :(
