For Easter this year we decided to head up to western Massachusetts! The Berkshires really are beautiful. The drive up there was all foggy but when the sun came through it was amazing. There were little streams running along the roads and lakes all over the place. I am still in love with the fact that grass is so abundant here! I know this is silly to most people but i love seeing it on the hillsides and in all the yards. We went to church up there. Danny served in this area for a few months while he was on his mission so we got to see some old friends of his. The weather was awesome and we ended up just playing outside during church. Afterwards we stopped at the Darger's family farm. I think we want to have a farm.....soon! We had an Easter egg hunt in their barn. Merrick kept asking where the horses, cows and chickens were because thats who lives in barns..duh!

Look at all those eggs we collected!
No trip is complete without Dairy Queen!! Can you believe he made it up until this point without spilling on his outfit?!

what a FUN Easter! I totally hear you onth grass everywhere thing . . . .I can't get enough of it! In fact, it's one of the things I will miss most about living in the East when we go back out west.
Talk about picture perfect! Beautiful! Hopefully you are still living back east when I get a chance to come visit:)
