Saturday Morning Fishing

One thing I love about New York City is all the free events they have! Saturday morning we were on a scooter ride and happened upon some fishing in the Hudson. We waited our turn for the fishing pole and then cast down into the yucky water. I think only two people caught fish while everyone else caught Sea Squirts as the guy called them. We didn't catch anything. Merrick loved it though! He didn't quite understand that fishing is about waiting patiently, he kept reeling the line up and moving it around. I think a fishing pole is on our list the next time we go to the store.
